Where students
lead through coding.

The Wunsche Coding Initiative is a student-run club at Carl Wunsche Senior High School. Founded and still led by students, the club provides a space to learn programming, compete in coding challenges, and host events that share technology with the broader school community.

{ What We Offer }

Peer Learning

Students learn together by sharing knowledge, solving problems side by side, and building coding skills without needing formal tutors

Competition Prep

Members support each other in preparing for district and state competitions, holding mock contests and practice sessions to build confidence as a team

Campus Involvement

The club organizes community events that connect with school life, creating opportunities for all students to explore technology together

{ Our Story }

The Wunsche Coding Initiative was founded in 2021-2022 by students after a computer science class was cut. With support from Ms. James and later Carolyn Gereke, the club grew into a campus hub where students learn coding, compete, and share their passion for technology.

Our mission is to empower students by making coding approachable, collaborative, and fun. We believe that by learning together, students not only gain valuable technical skills but also build confidence, leadership, and a sense of community.
