Community
One of the key values of the Wunsche Coding Initiative is community. Whether its hosting the Hour of Code Event (A learning sessinos with Code.Org that amassed over 150 students) or going to vaious middle schools to teach the foundations of Web Development.
Competition
A message our club always follows is "Iron Sharpens Iron." What this means is that through competing against others with similar or higher Skill levels, you can only get better. We train students to compete in various organizations such as SkillsUSA, BPA, TSA, and others. Additionally, we endorse students to compete by putting them through a selection process where the winners get their fees covered by the organization.
Lessons
Above all else, teaching has been the main focus of this since its establishment. Every single year, our officers have planned and curated curriculum that fits the needs of the members. By passing on our skills in Web Development, we are able to instill the future members of the club the ability to succeed in computer science.
Leadership
Through out all our lessons and events, we hope to raise future leaders in the tech industry and beyond. By giving our members opportunities in leadership, we hope to growth their leadership and interpersonal skills. With this, they can go into the work force with employable skills.
